Ahead of the 2026 West Africa Medical and Health industry and AI diagnosis and project cooperation summit, the Health Community of West Africa (HCOWA) has held a briefing meeting with partners and Heads of African missions in Accra, Ghana.
The meeting held at the association’s head office at Labadi Trade Fair site saw in attendance High Commissioners, ambassadors, and other diplomatic representatives.
According to the organizers, the meeting was aimed at informing partners of the Summit and Expo scheduled to take place in Ghana, between the 19th and 21st of August 2026, at the Ghana International Mall, Spintex.
It was revealed that this year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than the previous ones as there are plans to target not only ministers of Health from different African countries, but also Ministers of trade, industry, and investments.
The association commended the representatives from different Embassies and High Commissions for making time to engage them at their 2026 summit. A question-and-answer session formed part of the briefing, during which representatives of different missions wanted answers and clarification pertaining to issues regarding the 2026 West Africa Medical and Health industry and AI diagnosis and project cooperation summit.
According to the HCOWA, participating countries would be provided with three booths for a display of anything they might want to showcase to investors and guests.
Both members of the Health Community for West Africa and the invited country representatives pledged their commitments in ensuring a successful outcome of the summit in August.
