High Commissioner Kaisamba meets Ghana’s Chief of Protocol

Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner in Accra, Ghana His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba, has on Tuesday 15th April, met with the new Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ghana, Gustave Dovlo.

Meeting with the new chief of protocol according to H.E. Kaisamba was to congratulate him on his appointment, thank him for his Ministry’s support to the High Commission and expressed hope of constantly strengthening the bilateral ties between Sierra Leone and Ghana.

He spoke about the support enjoyed over the years by both nations which symbolizes and encourages unity in the African continent. 

H.E. Kaisamba spoke on the urgent need to put into action agreements between both countries as that will further deepen their relationship.

The High Commissioner concluded by pledging his team’s support to the Ministry as and when required.

On his part, the Chief of Protocol at Ghana’s Foreign Ministry appreciated the visit and described both Ghana and Sierra Leone as sister nations with promises of looking into the bilateral agreements that require action.

For the implementation of these agreements, the chief promised working together thoroughly with colleagues at the African Bilateral desk at the Ministry for action.

He expressed willingness to work with the Sierra Leone High Commission and called on the High Commissioner to engage his office for any assistance in the line of duty as he carries out his diplomatic tour.

With the outcome of such a meeting and particularly the issues discussed, it is believed that efforts on both sides will be shown to enhance bilateral cooperation, enhance ties for mutual benefit in trade, education, and investment areas.

The High Commissioner, Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba and the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ghana, Gustav Dovlo committed themselves in supporting their leaders at all times especially in reviving a joint cooperation agreement that was signed by both countries in 2018.
