The High Commissioner

H.E. Mrs. Francess Virginia Anderson was born on 3rd August 1979 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She is the third of five children, and the second of four girls. She is married, with two boys and a girl, to a Ghanaian Mr. Steve Kwame Anderson.

She had her early education in Sierra Leone until her relocation to Ghana in 1996 where she pursued her tertiary education. Mrs. Anderson is a graduate student of the Awards for Training and Higher Education and Ulster University, United Kingdom. She is a tourism and hospitality expert.

Mrs. Anderson worked as a manager for P&ABV Travel and Tours in the early years of her career. She was also a Manager at Largos Fort hotel in Accra, Ghana. She moved over to Sierra Leone in 2007 to serve as the first General Manager of Wusum Hotel, Sierra Leone’s premier hotel in the North of the country. After successfully managing this outfit for over 9 years, she went on to manage the Freetown International Airport Hotel for a year. Mrs. Anderson is also a successful business owner, and cofounder of a tourism and hospitality firm in Sierra Leone.
